The extent of the users' need for support and help varies in the different operations, giving you the opportunity to work in a setting that suits you and to the extent that suits you - part-time or full-time, and as a temporary employee, you can choose how long you want to work.

The different areas relevant to the offer are:

Special Housing

In special housing, people who need care and support around the clock live. Here, you are part of a team with care assistants, nursing assistants, nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists, and you will have tasks based on your level of competence. There is often a nice community in the residences with fun activities, shared meals, and celebrations. During the summer, we often go outside and enjoy the weather.

Home Care

You visit people in their homes around Överkalix. You are out between visits, which can be lovely in the summer. You walk, bike, or drive. Some visits you do alone, and others with colleagues. The work is varied, exciting, and independent.

LSS Operations

In the area of disabilities, you work with people who have mental, physical, and intellectual disabilities. Your task is to create conditions so that each person can live as independently as possible. Here, you primarily work with adults. You can work in group homes/service homes and personal assistance for all ages.

Conditions for Jobbonär Benefit

• The offer applies to you who were born on or before December 31, 1959.
• Applies to employees in home care, special housing, and LSS operations.
• The benefit is for those with an intermittent employment.
• The offer applies to care and support staff working during the period from June 1 to August 31, 2026; after a fixed period, the employee returns to their regular base salary.
• PAN employees are not covered by the benefit.
• The jobbonär benefit cannot be combined with other benefits or agreements.
• The employer determines if you are eligible for the jobbonär benefit - for questions, contact your nearest manager.

Qualifications

No formal requirements for education or experience, but education/experience is an advantage.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with others, who can provide support, care, and assistance to people who need help in their daily lives. As a retired person, you have a whole career behind you that has given you many experiences, even if you do not have experience or education in care and support. We would like you to be positive, engaged, and responsible.

You need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language.

Other

To work in home care, you need to have a B driver's license.

Duration/Working Hours

Temporary employment during the summer of 2026, from June 1, 2026, to August 31, 2026, with a flexible length during the specified period, and you choose your employment degree (%).

Salary

Hourly wage according to agreement plus 25% extra in jobbonär benefit.
