We are looking for

We are looking for a specialist in general medicine who wants to become part of our dedicated team. The position requires specialist competence in general medicine and good knowledge of Swedish at level C1. It is an advantage if you have cultural competence in Sámi culture and experience with the Cosmic journal system.

We place great emphasis on personal qualities. You are flexible and can handle a wide range of patient needs. You are self-sufficient and confident in making medical decisions, while also being structured and able to plan and prioritize your work. Additionally, you are communicative and build good relationships with patients, colleagues, and other professionals.

What you will work with

Our health center offers a wide range of services including a clinic, a ward with five beds, an ambulance station, and the Resource Center for Sámi health. We are a rural health center located about ten miles from the nearest hospital, which makes our work both important and varied. We now want to strengthen our medical team with an additional specialist in general medicine. Currently, the team consists of three general practitioners and we have about 4,300 registered patients.

Information about the position

We offer a permanent full-time position with a start date according to agreement. Working hours are during the day. Selection and interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
