Who are we?

Mosstorpskolan is located in the heart of Skärblacka, close to beautiful natural areas with easy access to both a swimming pool and an ice rink. The school has approximately 400 students from grades 4 to 9. Our students come from Skärblacka, Vånga, Kimstad, and Norsholm. There are frequent bus services from Norrköping, Finspång, and Linköping, making it easy to commute to our school.

We are about 55 colleagues, organized into six age-specific teams, as well as a team for student health and administration. The school has a student health team consisting of a special educator, counselor, and school nurse, along with support from special teachers, lead teachers, math pilots, reading pilots, NPF pilots, and student coaches.

We have nice functional facilities, a stimulating schoolyard, and a fantastic school kitchen where meals are prepared from scratch. In our work, we strive for all students to succeed; we believe that good relationships are important and that a professional approach, where collegial collaboration is key, is essential.

Recently, our school has faced certain challenges. We see this as an opportunity to grow and develop, and we are now in a phase where we are focusing on creating a safe, high-quality, and well-functioning school with the goal that all our students will succeed. Your responsibilities

You will be responsible for teaching and planning in your subjects, with English in grades 7-9 being the main task. Mentorship alongside another teacher is included in the position.

You will follow up on students' development and goal fulfillment in collaboration with the team and the school's student health team.

You will actively participate in the school's and the team's various joint tasks, contributing your own ideas, experiences, and engagement.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has a teaching license and is qualified to teach English in grades 7-9 as well as another subject.

We prefer that you have experience working as a mentor, that you are a clear leader, and that you find it easy to build good relationships and trust with parents, students, and colleagues.

You have a desire to develop in your work and are well-versed in the governing documents, and you are accustomed to working with digital tools.

You are calm and stable and have a flexible working style where you easily adapt to changing circumstances and take great responsibility for your tasks. You have the ability to follow and assess students' development of knowledge and skills in a varied way and work with the student to develop these.
