Seed Technician Wanted for Consulting Assignment at the Swedish Board of Agriculture in Landskrona

Responsibilities

The following tasks will be part of the role:

• perform sampling at seed facilities for seed-bearing crops and potatoes
• conduct inventories, including soil sampling in fields where seeds are grown
• participate in field-related tasks as needed, such as field inspections and coordination of field inspections
• pack and send samples.
• administrative tasks such as documenting actions, reporting time, and customer contacts.
• work according to established routines to ensure high quality in controls
• contribute to efficiency and continuous development of processes
• undergo an introduction on how the assignment should be performed at the beginning of the assignment
• use the sampling equipment and computer provided by the employer.

Who are you?

The offered consultant must meet the following competency requirements:

• Driver's license B
• Good computer skills
• Very good Swedish in speech and writing.

It is a merit for the assignment if you meet:

• upper secondary education with an agricultural focus or equivalent competence/education that the employer considers equivalent.
• experience in sampling or work with similar practical tasks as described above.

Personal qualities to be qualified for the role: accuracy, speed, and good collaboration skills.

You are offered

You are offered a consulting assignment with our client, the Swedish Board of Agriculture in Landskrona, with travel to various stakeholders in southern Sweden. Travel occurs daily, and overnight stays in other locations may occur. The assignment period will begin on January 7, 2026, and end on December 18, 2026. The assignment may be extended by up to 1 month in total.

The position corresponds to approximately 50% of a full-time position with some variation during the contract period depending on the season and needs.
