The Department of Management Support provides professional administrative support to LTH's organization, board, and management. We have broad knowledge of the faculty, deep knowledge of public authority operations, and a comprehensive overview of the faculty's engagement.

The role of research coordinator with a focus on contract processes will complement the support already provided at LTH and the legal department at LU. This involves many contacts with researchers within LTH. The role also includes support to LTH's management and institutions regarding, for example, review of contracts and contract documentation.

Job Responsibilities

The job responsibilities include, among other things, offering research support for LTH's researchers related to contract processes and include, for example, reviewing contracts and contract templates, industrial doctoral agreements, preparing documentation for contracts and delegation orders. The responsibilities will also involve support within doctoral education, operational data protection coordination within research, support for record-keeping, procurement of other contracts, etc. The work will be carried out as needed in dialogue with the legal department at LU and in close collaboration with researchers and research coordinators at LTH's administration and institutions. Other administrative tasks may also occur.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Relevant academic degree or other education relevant to the tasks.
  • Competence in administrative law or contract management related to research and education.
  • Very good experience from public authority operations and familiarity with processes and structures within state authorities.
  • Very good administrative skills and experience in working with qualified administrative tasks.
  • Good experience in working with contract management processes.
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

We will place great emphasis on personal suitability. We are looking for someone who has an unpretentious approach to their tasks and has a good ability to collaborate with many different parties and has an interest in building relationships. You have good communication skills, are attentive, and have a flexible working style while being meticulous. Furthermore, you also have a good ability to work independently and have a good ability to structure and prioritize your tasks.

It is advantageous if you also have:

  • Experience working with research and applications for research funding.
  • PhD or knowledge/experience from doctoral studies.
  • Experience working within EU projects or supporting researchers with applications for funding for EU projects.
  • International work experience.
  • Experience working within Nordic/European universities.
  • Experience with contacts with researchers, research funders, authorities, and other external actors in and outside Sweden.
  • Experience with GDPR and data protection issues.
  • Experience in PDA (Products with Dual Use), Globally Responsible Engagement, ethics, and related issues.
  • Familiarity with processes and structures at all levels within universities/colleges (shared administration, faculty level, and departmental level).

Consideration will be given to how the applicant is assessed to complement and strengthen the support for current research support, researchers, and research coordinators at LTH and contribute to its future development.

Other

Permanent employment, 100% scope. Start date by agreement. A probationary period may be applied. Interviews are expected to be conducted in February 2026.

How to Apply

Applications should be submitted via our recruitment system. At LTH, we work with competency-based recruitment, and you will be asked to answer questions during your application.
