Our mission

At the national department for Support and Matching, we provide service and support remotely to job seekers. We work with several important areas of responsibility such as matching, guidance, and advice, as well as decisions regarding measures for job seekers. Our main mission is to shorten the time in unemployment.

Our workplace

We sit together where collaboration and collegial support are central to creating a vibrant atmosphere. The workplace is the Swedish Public Employment Service office in Östersund.

Role description

We focus on job seekers, and in your role, you will be an important support for job seekers across the country and make a difference every day. The work requires curiosity with the ability to make the difficult simple. A central part of the role is matching to work and education, guidance, and making decisions about measures for our job seekers.

• Working with job seekers primarily via phone
• Working with scheduled assignments

Basic requirements for the position

• University/college education of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits according to the previous system)
• Alternatively, have worked at the Swedish Public Employment Service as an employment officer, decision handler, customer resource, case officer, or service officer

And

• At least 2 years of work experience, collectively working at least 50 percent for a total of two years
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, i.e., good ability to communicate in speech and writing, as well as high reading comprehension

Other merits for the position

• Worked at least 1 year with support and service to customers via phone
• Worked at least 1 year within government operations
• Worked at least 1 year with guidance towards work and/or studies

Our offer

The position is a permanent full-time employment that begins with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement. The workplace is Helsingborg.
