HR Generalist at Southern Skåne Regiment P 7

As an HR generalist in the Armed Forces, you play an important role in a successful team within an agency that is experiencing strong growth. About the Unit

As an HR generalist at P 7, you belong to the personnel section in the armored battalion's staff. The staff works with execution leadership, logistics, planning, communication, training, and personnel services, providing the battalion leadership with decision-making support in these areas. The personnel section currently consists of a personnel manager, two HR generalists, one personnel administrator, two conscription consultants, and one conscription officer.

Main Responsibilities

In the role of HR generalist, you will encounter tasks across a wide range of personnel areas. The tasks include, among others:

• Consultative and practical support for managers
• Management of recurring HR projects
• Follow-up on personnel matters
• Administration within the HR area
• Recruitment of various personnel categories

Qualifications

• Swedish citizenship
• Academic degree in HR/PA field.
• Very good skills in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Current and relevant experience of working within a government agency

Meritorious

• Experience working consultatively with managers
• Experience in interpreting and applying laws and agreements related to the HR field
• Experience working within the Armed Forces
• Experience in recruiting licensed personnel, preferably within the Armed Forces
• Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing

Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone who has the ability to see both the details and the whole in their work and has analytical skills. You are a driven person who is communicative, takes initiative, and is service-oriented. You have a good ability to plan and prioritize your work. You have good physical and mental health. Physical training is a work task within the Armed Forces and takes place during working hours, 3 hours/week.

The Southern Skåne Regiment is also known as P 7. P stands for armor as the regiment primarily uses armored vehicles. We conduct military basic training for conscripts in ground combat, mechanized, and motorized combat with the support of our main vehicles, which are: Stridsvagn 122, Stridsfordon 9040C, and Pansarterrängbil 360.

P 7 has full-time and part-time personnel serving in their various positions nationally and internationally.
