During the period from June to August, we need your help when our regular staff goes on vacation. Therefore, we are looking for several people who can support the operations during the summer period. The work involves being responsible for an area in constant change that places high demands on safety awareness and security. Since our operations are conducted in the mining area of Kaunisvaara, you will be stationed on-site.

Job Responsibilities 
As a survey technician, you will be part of the planning department at the mine, responsible for both short-term and long-term mining planning, measurement, geology, and grade control. You will work in a team responsible for mine planning in the Kaunisvaara mining area. You will be responsible for ensuring that the operations organization receives the measurements and planning materials required to ensure safe operations. You will work with the setting out and measurement of drill holes, dumps, roads, loading areas, and loading limits. The work also includes checking load levels and profiles.

Education and Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a high school education with a scientific focus or equivalent. A degree in surveying at the university level and geological education is an advantage. For employment, the ability to communicate in Swedish is required. We also prefer candidates with experience in measurement work from the construction or mining industry. You should have a good ability to handle Microsoft Office products, especially Excel. Experience with Topocad and/or other measurement/CAD programs is also advantageous. Access to a car is necessary. A driver's license, class B for manual transmission, is required for employment.

Working Hours
The working hours are shift work 7-7, which means morning and afternoon shifts with intervening time off.

Salary
According to the agreement for salaried employees with Unionen, Ledarna, and Sveriges ingenjörer.

Employment Conditions
Temporary position during regular staff's vacation.
