Assistant Nurse for Gynecological Clinic in Hudiksvall

The gynecological clinic in Hudiksvall is part of women's healthcare in Region Gävleborg. The clinic consists of an established team where we highly value quality, flexibility, and accessibility. Here, nurses, midwives, nursing assistants, secretaries, and doctors work together. The operations include gynecological specialist care with doctor, nurse, midwife, and abortion clinics. There is also specialist maternal care and ultrasound services for pregnancy ultrasound. We also conduct day surgery and cancer care for gynecological cancer.

We are now looking for a nursing assistant to join our team for a temporary position!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nursing assistant, you will work with:

• assisting doctors and midwives in the clinic during patient visits
• assisting doctors in minor procedures and various types of treatments
• performing medical checks such as blood pressure, pulse, saturation, blood sampling of venous and capillary samples, cultures, etc.

• have an independent role with your own responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is positive, flexible, and treats both colleagues and patients with respect and kindness. You enjoy working with people and are service-oriented. You are also self-sufficient and work confidently and independently, while having good teamwork skills and contributing to a positive team environment to ensure high-quality care.

In the role of nursing assistant, you should:

• be a trained nursing assistant.

Previous experience in clinic operations and/or women's healthcare is an advantage.

Information about the Title Nursing Assistant

As of July 1, 2023, the title of nursing assistant will become a protected professional title. This means that you will need a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title of nursing assistant within healthcare and social services. You can apply for the certificate starting July 1, 2023. If you do not have a certificate, you can continue to work in healthcare and social services, but with a different title than nursing assistant. In Region Gävleborg, this means that the title in your employment contract will be care assistant until your certificate is submitted.
