Södertull Health Center

Your health center is located in the south of central Gävle in a beautiful older building within walking distance to the city center and train station, with good public transport. We are about 45 employees and we have a medical clinic staffed by permanent doctors, district nurse clinic, child health care, home care, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and a psychosocial team. We are responsible for several care and nursing homes as well as the Migration Agency's detention center in Gävle. We also have several specialist clinics. We are a training center and focus on guiding medical and nursing students into their future careers.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a nurse/district nurse, you will work in a team with doctors and other staff at the health center. With us, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills as a primary care contact for some of our most needy patients. You will have a varied everyday life with many different tasks and responsibilities.

As a nurse/district nurse with us, you will work with:

• telephone advice
• clinic work, planned and acute
• home visits and care planning
• clinic at the detention center.

In the role of nurse/district nurse, you should:

• be a licensed nurse with at least four years of experience in the profession or trained as a district nurse.
