Our Operations

The orthopedics and hand surgery department is a workplace in constant development, consisting of an orthopedic adult emergency department, management of acute and elective orthopedic conditions, and a pediatric orthopedic unit with both acute and elective operations. The position includes work at the emergency department around the clock, ward work, elective consultations, as well as elective and emergency surgery.

The department has an academic profile with education for medical students and doctors at all stages of their careers, other basic education, and specialist training for nurses. We conduct research with national and international partners and quality and patient safety work focused on proactive operational development.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed physician with a strong personal drive and a great interest in orthopedics, who wants to practice and develop orthopedics in Sweden. The work requires good collaboration and communication skills, humility, and assumes pedagogical ability as well as an interest in research and operational development. Ongoing or completed research projects are highly meritorious.

Your Competence

We are looking for someone who is flexible and easily adapts to changing circumstances. You take initiative, work well with others, and demonstrate judgment in actions and decision-making.

We Offer

We offer 2 ST physician positions in orthopedics. Permanent full-time employment with start date as agreed. Part of the ST may be allocated to other units such as Enköping Hospital, private units, and the Urgent Care Center. Night, evening, and weekend work is included in the position.
