Our 1800 employees work with close care and health in Uppsala County. We have a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or within habilitation, and we provide advice over the phone via 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us as we tailor our offerings based on the needs of the residents. We already offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services.

Your mission

With us, you will work closely with all professions at the health center and in teams. Your tasks will consist of outpatient work with good opportunities for other stimulating tasks such as mentoring BT/AT/ST doctors and responsibility for various clinical processes based on interest. As part of the work, you will also be involved in developing our operations, and there are good opportunities to influence work arrangements and scheduling, thus allowing you to impact your work environment. Some on-call duty will be included, as is the case throughout primary care in Region Uppsala. We also offer the possibility to work partially remotely.

Your competence

We are looking for a physician with specialist competence in general medicine with Swedish medical license and good ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written. Since we are currently in a phase where we have great opportunities to develop our operations, it is advantageous if you have an interest in healthcare development with a focus on patients and patient flows. It is also beneficial if you enjoy working in teams around patients with other professions to create efficient flows. We place great importance on personal qualities.

Our operations

Skutskär Health Center is located a five-minute walk from the train station, making it easy to commute from both Gävle (17 km) and Uppsala (90 km). All professional fields are represented here, and together we offer all services within the health center's mission. All professions work closely together to provide the best possible care, and you can become part of our team!

Together, we have 9,000 listed patients, and we are 42 employees offering most services in primary care, including very well-functioning nurse-led clinics. At the health center, we work to provide our patients with the best possible care. We value a good and stimulating work environment with personal solutions and great commitment to our development.
