We at Attendo are now looking for a licensed nurse for our facility Attendo Topelius. Attendo Topelius is a special housing for people over 65 years old, located in Nyby in northern Uppsala. Topelius has 80 places distributed across four departments/floors. 40 places are for people with dementia and 40 places are for people with somatic needs.

About the role

One of our regular nurses will take on a position as deputy manager at 40%, and we are now looking for a nurse who can be responsible for the department together with her. As a nurse with us in our facilities, you will have a varied job where you work long-term with health plans to increase the quality of life for the residents, but you will also be the one making assessments and decisions about actions in acute situations. Your responsibilities also include providing good palliative care. The transition to Close Care means that more and more specialized healthcare interventions take place in the facility. This gives you a variety of stimulating and developing tasks. You will have a leading role with great opportunities to influence the operations.

As a nurse within Attendo, you are significant and your competence is highly valued. The work is independent while you have access to many competent colleagues in our nursing networks. You are part of the team working to empower the individual.

Main responsibilities

• Work in national quality registers

• Supervision of nursing staff

• Nursing responsibility for patients

Who are you?

As a person, you are responsible, independent, and humble with the ability to prioritize. You enjoy supervising and delegating nursing staff in health and medical tasks and are motivated by creating high-quality care for those living with us together with your colleagues.

Qualifications

• Licensed nurse

• At least one year of professional experience, preferably in elderly care

• Very good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form

It is an advantage if you also have

• Experience from working in private care services

• Experience in supervision

• Education in geriatrics or district nursing.
