Our 1800 employees work with close care and health in Uppsala County. We offer a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own healthcare centers or within habilitation, and we provide advice over the phone via 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us as we tailor our services based on the needs of the residents. We already offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services.

We are looking for a nurse who wants to develop with us and have a job that is both varied and stimulating. We offer a temporary position of 80-100% starting by agreement, until 2026-12-31, with the possibility of extension.

Your mission

As a nurse with us, you will have a varied job. It involves assessing and assisting patients in phone consultations, chat, and during scheduled visits. You will work closely with other professionals at the healthcare center. We actively work to improve patient flows through triaging and booking for all professions. There is an opportunity to work partially remotely after you have completed the introduction.

Your competence

We are looking for a licensed nurse, preferably with previous experience in primary care, healthcare systems, and phone consultations. It is an advantage if you have training in asthma/COPD, heart failure, and diabetes. As a person, you are good at planning, organizing, and prioritizing work effectively. It is important that you are flexible in your working methods and can easily create contact with both patients and colleagues. The work requires good collaboration skills and an enjoyment of working in a team, but also the ability to work independently. We place great emphasis on the willingness and ability to develop the operations together with other colleagues at the clinic.

Our operations

Svartbäckens Healthcare Center belongs to the Close Care and Health administration in Region Uppsala and is one of the largest healthcare centers in the county with about 19,000 registered patients. We are centrally located in Uppsala and have about 75 employees representing all professional roles within the healthcare center's mission. Our patients are both young and old living in the area or in the surrounding countryside. This makes our work both varied and developing. The operations also include branches in Bälinge and Björklinge.
