Job Responsibilities

As a school nurse in Enköping Municipality, you will play a central and significant role in the daily lives and development of students. You actively work to promote the physical, mental, and social health of children and young people in a safe and stimulating school environment. You meet students in both planned and spontaneous conversations and are an important adult and secure contact for students who need support, guidance, or health-promoting interventions. Through health visits, counseling, and follow-ups, you contribute to early detection of needs and strengthen students' conditions to feel good and succeed in school.

Qualifications and Educational Requirements

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed nurse
• Has at least 2 years of experience working as a school nurse
• Has a B driver's license
• Has one of the following further education qualifications:
  • Specialist nurse in health and medical care for children and adolescents
  • District nurse
  • Special training for school nurses

Personal Qualities

You are confident in your professional role, have good collaboration skills, and a professional approach towards students, guardians, and colleagues. You work independently, in a structured manner, and have a genuine interest in the health of children and young people.
