About Barnsjukhuset Martina

Barnsjukhuset Martina is Stockholm's largest provider of outpatient pediatric and adolescent medicine, with over 250 employees across several clinics in the city. Our largest unit is located at Sophiahemmet.

We provide pediatric and adolescent medicine (BUMM) on behalf of Region Stockholm, including neuropsychiatric assessments. In addition, we operate three child health clinics and provide speech therapy and orthopedic services for children.

The foundation of our operations is general pediatrics, but we also have many subspecialists. Our pediatric nurses have specialized expertise in areas such as ADHD, asthma/allergy, gastroenterology, obesity, and urotherapy, and we also have an active dietitian service.

About the unit at Sophiahemmet

We are now looking for an engaged pediatric nurse or nurse with child experience to join our team at Martina BUMM and the urgent care unit at Sophiahemmet.

Here, you will meet a humble and close-knit team where pediatric nurses, pediatricians, child psychiatrists, nursing assistants, operational coordinators, psychologists, and speech therapists work closely together to provide our patients with the best possible care.

Your role

We are looking for you who are a specialist nurse in pediatric and adolescent medicine. The role is broad and varied and includes work in the urgent care unit and your own nursing clinic within the BUMM care choice.

In the urgent care unit, we receive children with infections, wound injuries, suspected fractures, and other acute, simpler conditions. You will work with sampling, spirometry, vital parameters, dressings, and assist doctors during examinations and treatments.

In the nursing clinic, you will have your own patients for asthma and allergy checks, eczema school, enuresis and constipation, obesity, follow-up of ADHD medication, and advice via phone or video.

You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams but also have independent responsibility for your patients.
