Your Mission

As a school nurse, you will primarily work in health promotion and prevention. The overarching goal is for all students to have the opportunity to meet the required academic standards in school. As a school nurse, you will be part of a comprehensive student health team at the school and will closely collaborate with the school doctor, special educator, psychologist, counselor, and principal. A comprehensive student health service should support students' development towards the goals of education. The school nurse's duties include standard school nursing tasks that are essential parts of the work mentioned above. Health visits and the open clinic are important components to ensure that each student receives the support they need in school. Other tasks include vaccinations according to the general vaccination program.

Your Profile

You should be a licensed nurse with specialist training in pediatric and adolescent healthcare or general healthcare. Previous experience working with children and adolescents, as well as experience as a school nurse, is considered an advantage. The job requires good computer skills. As a person, you should be structured and meticulous, enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams, and be comfortable taking initiative. You have a strong drive for health promotion work, creating a school environment that is positive, tolerant, and safe, and continuously working together to build good relationships at all levels.

The position is a temporary contract of between 40-80% with a start date of 2026-01-07 or by agreement. There is an opportunity for both vacation and leave of absence.
