About Barnsjukhuset Martina

Barnsjukhuset Martina is Stockholm's largest provider of outpatient pediatric and adolescent medicine, with over 250 employees across several clinics in the city. Our largest unit is located at Sophiahemmet.

We provide pediatric and adolescent medicine (BUMM) on behalf of Region Stockholm, including neuropsychiatric assessments. In addition, we operate three child health clinics as well as speech therapy and orthopedic services for children.

The foundation of our operations is general pediatrics, but we also have many subspecialists. Our pediatric nurses have specialized expertise in areas such as ADHD, asthma/allergy, gastroenterology, obesity, and urology, and we also have an active dietitian service.

About the unit in Järva

We are now looking for a dedicated pediatric nurse to join our team at Martina BUMM Järva.

Your role

We are looking for someone who is a specialist nurse in pediatric and adolescent medicine. The role is broad and varied and includes your own nursing clinic within the BUMM care model.

At the nursing clinic, you will have your own patients for asthma and allergy checks, eczema school, enuresis and constipation, obesity, follow-up of ADHD medication, and advice via phone or video.

With us, you will utilize your entire general pediatric competence, your commitment, and your ability to see the big picture. Our patients come from many different backgrounds, and we value an open, attentive, and cross-cultural approach.

In the same premises, there is also Orthopedics for Children and Adults, which offers fracture consultations and advanced day orthopedic surgery under local anesthesia in our fine operating department. Here, orthopedic surgeons and nursing assistants with orthopedic expertise work together.

You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams but also have independent responsibility for your patients.
