We now welcome a new psychologist colleague to the Psychiatric Specialist Clinic Värmdö, which has been part of Psychiatry Southern Stockholm since April 1. You will be part of a dedicated and experienced team with a strong team spirit – and at the same time have the opportunity to contribute in an exciting phase where we together develop the future of psychiatry.

About us

The Psychiatric Specialist Clinic Värmdö is a well-functioning general psychiatric clinic for adults. The clinic was previously run by a private provider and has a well-established team with broad competence in psychiatric outpatient care. With the transition to public management, the clinic is now part of a larger organization with a long-term societal mission, where the patient's needs, quality, and equitable care are at the center.

Here, psychologists, doctors, nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, and case managers work together in interdisciplinary teams. We offer evidence-based assessment, investigation, and treatment – both individually and in groups. You will be part of a group of psychologists with seven other psychologists. With us, you also have the opportunity to work in diagnosis-specific teams for DBT, psychosis, bipolar disorder, and neuropsychiatry. Depending on your experience and interest, there are good opportunities to deepen your knowledge in a specific area and specialize in a certain patient group.

The clinic is located in Gustavsberg's center near Gustavsberg's harbor with good communication to Stockholm – about 25 minutes by bus from Slussen. By car from Södermalm about 20-25 minutes.

Your role

As a psychologist with us, you will work with:

• Neuropsychiatric assessments (including neuropsychiatric assessments based on needs and interests)
• Assessment and psychological treatment of patients with complex psychiatric issues
• Group therapy and psychoeducational interventions
• Collaboration in teams around the patient's care planning and treatment
• Active participation in development work and implementation of evidence-based methods

Our expectations of you

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed psychologist with at least three years of professional experience
• Has a genuine interest in psychiatric care
• Experience with CBT, DBT, and/or neuropsychiatric assessments
• Enjoys working both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues
• Has a good ability to meet patients with varying needs
• Is confident in your professional role, structured, and contributes to a good work climate

• requires, in addition to Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
