Specialist Psychologist at BUP Södertälje

We are now announcing a permanent position where you will contribute to the clinic's mission to provide evidence-based, good, and safe care to children and adolescents.

BUP Södertälje is a child and adolescent psychiatric outpatient clinic with a geographical catchment area consisting of the municipalities of Södertälje, Nykvarn, and Salem. The clinic is part of BUP Stockholm's section for Specialized Outpatient Care. The target group is children and adolescents aged 6-17 years with moderate to severe psychiatric issues.

About 25 qualified staff members work at the clinic, including psychologists, doctors, nurses, social workers, therapists, occupational therapists, medical secretaries, and administrators. We work to offer our patients good and safe care based on BUP's process maps and medication instructions as well as the National Board of Health and Welfare's guidelines. The work includes collaboration with social services, schools, habilitation, and adult psychiatry.

The clinic is centrally located in a beautiful turn-of-the-century building, with good communication opportunities. We offer a well-functioning workplace and a team with good cohesion. Job Responsibilities

As a specialist psychologist, you have overall responsibility in areas such as method development, evaluation, and supervision. You will work closely with the unit manager and the unit's medically responsible doctor. You are responsible for leading the continued implementation of BUP's process maps at the unit. You will be part of the local management group. As a specialist psychologist, you are expected to assist the clinic with consultations to other staff members. You will also work clinically at an advanced level, primarily with psychological treatment and child psychiatric diagnostics.

Qualifications

You who are applying are a licensed psychologist with specialist qualifications in clinical child and adolescent psychology or another specialization relevant to the employer. You have experience working as a psychologist in child and adolescent psychiatry or another psychiatric setting. Basic psychotherapy training with a focus on CBT is a requirement. You also need to have knowledge in neuropsychiatric diagnostics and psychological treatment of comorbidity.

Personal suitability is of great importance in the appointment of the position. The unit needs you to be proactive and driven in your work. You need to be able to support your colleagues in their clinical work, which requires good competence and collaboration skills.
