Job Advertisement: Store Salesperson with Extra Shift Leader Responsibility

Are you looking for a fast-paced part-time job? Look no further! We are seeking a store salesperson with extra shift leader responsibility who can work every other weekend. The position is permanent at 17.43% with an initial probation period of six months. This role is particularly exciting as you will also be responsible for staffing and scheduling additional personnel in addition to your role as a store salesperson.

This means you will have a lot of contact with our station managers and handle incoming calls via the on-call phone, as well as administrate in the scheduling system Timegrip. In this role, you will report to the staffing manager and be part of a team of several store salespeople with on-call responsibilities.

We would like you to have a strong interest in collaborating with both colleagues and customers. You put the customer first and can express yourself in a professional manner. Since the job involves some solitary work, we prefer that you are self-driven and take your own initiatives. You will have a 4-week rolling schedule.

Your main responsibilities:

• Staffing and scheduling: Handle incoming shift bookings via phone and be responsible for staffing in case of absence of existing personnel during evenings and weekends.
• Work at the station: Responsible for customer relations and sales activities, receive deliveries, restock goods, and ensure that the service station is well-stocked.
• Onboarding for new salespeople: Be a buddy/mentor for newly hired store salespeople starting in staffing and ensure they receive the right introduction to work at all stations.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has an eye for detail
• Enjoys the role of store salesperson and wants to combine it with solving shifts and staffing our stations
• Is available to start in January
• Enjoys teaching and coaching others
• Has at least completed high school education
• Holds a B driver's license
• Feels comfortable using Swedish and English in speech and writing

Good to know:

• Location: At one of our stations in the Gothenburg area
• Working hours: The position corresponds to 17.43%, but if you want to work more, you have the opportunity to take extra shifts as a store salesperson at our stations
• Working times: Every other weekend between 7 - 12 or 16 - 22.
• Scope: Permanent employment starting in January
• Salary: Monthly salary based on previous experience in service (25,000 – 31,000 SEK/month for full-time work) plus additional compensation for evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
