Väderögruppen is looking for a passionate and dedicated Marketing Manager and Booking Receptionist who wants to help develop and promote our unique destination to guests around the world. Väderögruppen operates the destination Väderöarna, located in the beautiful and unspoiled archipelago off the west coast of Sweden, a place where nature and tranquility are in focus. Here we offer our guests a unique experience with good food, accommodation, and activities that take them away from everyday life. We strive to provide our guests with a memorable and personal experience, and we are now looking for someone who can help us promote our gem.

Job Responsibilities:

As a Marketing Manager and Booking Receptionist, you will have significant responsibility for driving and developing our communication and booking systems. Your main tasks will include:

• Marketing:
• Developing and implementing marketing strategies to increase the visibility of Väderöarna.
• Creating and distributing content through our digital channels (website, social media, newsletters, etc.).
• Planning and executing campaigns and events to attract both new and returning guests.
• Analyzing market trends and competition to identify new business opportunities.

• Booking:
• Managing bookings via phone, email, and our booking system.
• Providing professional and personal service to our guests and answering questions about our services.
• Administering and updating the booking system to ensure accurate and smooth booking management.
• Communicating with guests before, during, and after their stay to ensure high service quality.
• Handling logistics planning for boat transportation to and from the island.
• General office administration.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in marketing and/or booking within the tourism industry, preferably with a focus on hotels or restaurants.
• Has experience working with social media and digital marketing.
• Is familiar with using booking systems and other digital tools.
• Is self-motivated, organized, and has a strong sense of responsibility.
• Has good communication skills, both verbal and written, in Swedish and English.
• Is creative and has the ability to create engaging content and campaigns.
• Has a passion for providing guests with the best possible experience and has a service-oriented attitude.
• Is proactive and solution-oriented.

Location: The primary workplace will be our office in Hamburgsund, but there is also the possibility of working at Väderöarna, west coast of Sweden.
