We are looking for someone who wants to help drive and realize many of the maintenance and renovation projects that our managed housing cooperatives are facing.

A job in renovation at Riksbyggen is both developing and varied. The projects vary greatly in nature, complexity, and duration. Examples of projects include converting premises into new apartments, pipe replacements, climate shells, ventilation, and various energy measures such as solar panels and charging stations. Before each project, the project manager assembles a team of consultants who together design documents and procure contracts. The project manager then continues through the production phase to approved final inspection and throughout the entire warranty period. Throughout all stages, this is done in close dialogue with the customer, who is often a housing cooperative. This is a role where the project manager truly gets to work from start to finish with great freedom.

With us, you make a difference. A project manager at Riksbyggen has an important role where we gain significant trust from our customers. You are part of the maintenance and renovation projects from start to finish. This means you are involved from the analysis phase of the customer's living environment and economy, sales to the customer, authority contacts, design, and throughout the construction process with final inspection and handover, until the warranty period has expired. In other words, you drive your own projects through all stages and are responsible for both implementation and results.

When you are not out on construction sites, meeting customers or contractors, you will work from our office in Umeå with your colleagues. With us, you have a free role where you can plan your time and projects.

You contribute with your competence and engagement. We are primarily looking for the right person to join our team and act as a contact for our customers. Someone who enjoys driving projects and wants to manage several projects simultaneously at different stages. You have a few years of experience in project management within the real estate industry and preferably knowledge of housing cooperatives.

You are a trained engineering graduate, civil engineer, and/or have the necessary competence and experience from the real estate industry. It is advantageous if you have led projects from analysis and design to implementation and completion, as well as being responsible for budgets and forecasts. You are quality-conscious and have the ability to manage the overall business relationship between you and the customer.

You have a sales-oriented and trust-building side and enjoy working both independently and closely with your colleagues. It is important that you like to lead towards goals, have good collaboration skills, and are attentive to your customers. The employee we are looking for is used to working digitally and in a constantly changing environment. Your drive and communication skills are key to good collaboration with both customers and colleagues.

For this assignment with many recurring and complex tasks, both industry knowledge and attention to detail are required. It is advantageous if you have knowledge of contract law, PBL, and workplace safety BAS-P and U.
