Project Planner for GlobalEye
Do you want to work on one of Sweden's largest and most advanced technology projects? Now you have the chance to take a central role in the planning of billion-dollar projects within radar and surveillance aircraft. As a project planner in GlobalEye, you will be a key person close to the main project manager, a role for you who want to work with strategic planning in a complex technical environment.
About the Role
In the GlobalEye project, advanced surveillance systems are built and integrated into modified aircraft platforms, a large, dynamic, and high-tech development project where over 100 people from various disciplines collaborate. As a project planner, you will work closely with the main project manager and sub-project managers to define, follow up, and drive the project's timelines. You will be the right hand of the main project manager and have a central function in providing situational reports, analyzing deviations, and suggesting actions.
You will:
- Be responsible for planning, following up, and quality assuring the project's timelines
- Maintain continuous dialogue with sub-project managers regarding status, risks, dependencies, and potential delays
- Compile and report status to the main project management and project group
- Work strategically on improvements in the planning process
- Participate in recurring meetings - weekly project meetings, daily crosstalk meetings, and planning forums
- Be a central contact point in a large and rapidly changing project
You will actively work on the project's progress, drive planning issues, and be involved in finding solutions when new challenges arise. You will be part of a planning team with two people where responsibilities can be flexibly distributed depending on skills and willingness to develop.
We are looking for someone who has:
- At least 2-3 years of experience in project management
- A good understanding of planning as part of project management responsibility
- The ability to communicate clearly, collaborate, and drive work forward
- Good Swedish and English skills in both speech and writing
Meritorious
- Technical university degree
- Experience from larger technical projects or projects with complex dependencies
- Technical interest
