Job Responsibilities - What will you do?

As a nursing assistant or caregiver in home care, you will have an independent and varied job where you make a difference every day. You work in the clients' own homes, providing support based on their needs and care plans. The tasks may include:

• Personal care - assistance with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and supervision as needed.
• Practical support - assistance with meals, shopping, and other daily chores.
• Social support - conversation, companionship, and creating a sense of security.
• Documentation - accurate documentation of completed services according to assistance decisions and routines.
• Medication delegation - administer medications according to prescriptions and delegation.
• Emergency alarms – quickly respond to urgent needs of clients who have triggered alarms. We work on behalf of Oxelösund municipality and are responsible for both regular home care tasks and handling emergency alarms between 07:00 and 22:00. This means a varied assignment with both planned and more urgent interventions.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has their heart in the right place and enjoys working closely with people. To fit in with us, we would like you to have the following qualities and qualifications:

• Nursing assistant education - it is highly meritorious if you are a trained nursing assistant and have experience working in home care.
• Swedish in speech and writing - you master Swedish at a level that allows you to communicate clearly and document professionally.
• Driving license B - you are a safe driver and used to driving for work.
• Bicycle - you are a confident cyclist and used to getting around by bike.
• Stress-resistant and flexible - you remain calm, find solutions, and adapt to the needs of clients and the organization.
• Independent - takes initiatives but also collaborates well with colleagues.
• Empathetic and communicative - builds good relationships and meets each client based on their individual needs.
• Meticulous and responsible - delivers high-quality work with attention to detail.

Working hours and employment rate

Working hours: 15:30–22:30. Employment: Monday to Sunday by agreement. Employment rate: for this position, we offer a part-time employment. Workplace: you will start from our office in Oxelösund. We prefer that you live nearby to facilitate travel to and from work.
