JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The role of study guide involves supporting students in transferring knowledge from their mother tongue/school language to Swedish. The goal of the study guidance is for the student to develop tools for their own learning and continued education, and the guidance must therefore be conducted alternately in Swedish and the mother tongue.

Study guidance can take place at several schools in the municipality depending on where the students are enrolled.

QUALIFICATIONS

We prefer that you have a pedagogical education and experience in study guidance and/or mother tongue teaching. It is an advantage if you are familiar with the Swedish school system, the Swedish language of instruction, as well as the curriculum and other governing documents relevant to the operations. To function as a study guide, your Swedish must be well developed.

A B driver's license is required as the position may involve multiple schools.
