Sandvik School is located in the eastern part of Karlskoga and has about 310 students in grades F-6. The school has two classes in each grade and three after-school centers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will work together with teachers in grade 4 and the school's resource team. Your main task will be to take responsibility for one student. Together with teachers, you will work towards an accessible learning environment that nurtures the student's curiosity, motivation, and interests. You will be responsible for ensuring that the student has the opportunity to participate in all school activities based on inclusion and accessibility.

We work with a solution-focused approach and a low-arousal response where relationship-building is of great importance.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a teacher, leisure leader, childcare worker, or someone with another educational background.

You are an engaged, clear, and secure leader for the students, and your attitude towards the assignment should be solution-oriented. You easily create good relationships and keep the student's best interests in focus by supporting, stimulating, motivating, and providing the care the student needs. We are looking for someone who can work both independently and collaboratively with others. You take great responsibility for the entire assignment.

Curiosity, creativity, and accountability are personal qualities we appreciate.

It is an advantage if you have:

  • previously worked as a resource/student assistant
  • knowledge and experience in primary school grades F-6.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
