We are looking for a teacher for Nexus, a program that includes an emergency school and a municipal special education group (KSU). Nexus is part of the municipality's support structure for students with extensive needs, where the regular school organization temporarily does not suffice.
As a teacher at Nexus, you will be responsible for teaching in small and flexible groups and work to create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment where every student is given the opportunity to develop based on their circumstances. The role is relationship-oriented and requires a good ability to meet students in challenging situations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Your responsibilities include:
- planning and conducting teaching based on the student's study plan from their home school
- adapting teaching to meet the individual needs of students and supporting their learning process
- working to strengthen students' social and emotional skills as well as motivation for learning
- documenting, following up, and evaluating students' knowledge development and progression
- collaborating with colleagues within Nexus and with the student's home school
- communicating goals, development, and progression with students and guardians
- participating in the program's joint development work
You will be part of a team consisting of teachers and a social pedagogue. Support from central student health is also available if needed. The size and composition of the teaching groups may vary over time.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who:
- is a certified teacher in primary school, grades 7-9 - experience is required
- has experience working with students in challenging situations and/or with extensive support needs
- has good knowledge of and applies low-arousal approaches
- has the ability to adapt teaching and learning environments based on students' diverse needs
- has a good ability to collaborate and cooperate with colleagues, home schools, and external actors

- solution-oriented and creative in your pedagogical work
- a teacher who easily empathizes with others, listens, and is respectful in interactions with students
You have the ability to create an inclusive classroom climate that contributes to study peace, safety, and learning. You motivate and engage students and adapt teaching so that every student has the opportunity to succeed. Personal suitability is highly valued.
