Ås School, a F-6 school in Nora Municipality with approximately 150 students, is located outside central Nora. The school has a history dating back to the 1890s and the environment around the school has a Bullerby atmosphere. The school is part of the principal area 4 along with Järnboås School.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In collaboration with the school's work team, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching based on applicable governing documents. You will plan assignments and document students' knowledge development in the municipality's digital system. You will actively take responsibility for creating good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. Together with your colleagues, student health, and school management, you will work on school development that promotes progress at Ås School.

This position does not include class leadership during the spring term. However, you will be responsible for the school's homework assistance. Teaching during the spring term is primarily related to the middle school level. In the principal areas that Ås School belongs to, we see a good collaboration culture as important.

QUALIFICATIONS

The requirements for the position are a teaching license, preferably with teaching qualifications for grades 1-6 in the subjects of Math/Swedish/Social Studies. We consider it an advantage if you have qualifications in additional subjects and knowledge of the educational platform Schoolsoft.

We are looking for someone who is secure and stable and who finds it easy to connect with students and guardians. As a teacher, it is important that you have good collaboration skills and contribute to a calm and safe school environment. A prerequisite for succeeding in this role is that you have knowledge of children's development and learning, as well as the ability to adapt teaching based on the group and individual students' needs and conditions.
