About the Position

Together with the teachers in the work team and the physical education teachers, you will plan the teaching. You will be responsible for planning and conducting physical education lessons. You will be part of work team 4 led by a development leader. Each week, you will meet for planning and pedagogical time together with all teachers at the school. Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for systematically documenting, analyzing, evaluating, and following up on students' learning in the subjects you teach. As a physical education teacher with us, you will be active and relationship-building in your contact with both students and guardians. You will help create a good learning environment and use general adaptations as much as possible, while driving school development in collaboration with other teachers and developing the areas prioritized by the school.

Examples of Responsibilities:

• plan, conduct, and evaluate teaching in the subjects you are qualified to teach
• co-plan and evaluate together with your subject colleagues
• support students in their social development
• actively work to create a safe environment for our students at school
• be familiar with and follow the applicable laws, policies, and routines of the organization
• work and document in the existing operational systems

About the Workplace

Norrbyskolan is a F-6 school operated as an intrapreneurship, which means a form of greater freedom and responsibility regarding finances, budgets, and personnel issues. Norrbyskolan is beautifully located next to Venaskogen in the northern part of central Örebro. We have approximately 670 students distributed across four preschool classes, twelve classes in grades 1-3, and eleven classes in grades 4-6. Our staff is divided into work teams based on grade levels with about 10 employees in each.

Qualifications

As a teacher, it is important that you have good collaboration skills where you listen and communicate, contributing to a calm and safe school environment. You should also have knowledge of children's development and learning, as well as the ability to adapt teaching based on the group and individual students' needs and conditions. You have strong relational leadership in your teaching and can work with your students' various learning conditions. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Requirements:

• teacher certification with qualifications to teach physical education for grades F-6, or an equivalent degree that qualifies for certification

Meritorious:

• work experience in the teaching profession in the relevant grades
