Description

For the spring term of 2026, we are now looking for an engaged primary school teacher F–6 for grade 1 at Grythyttan School for a temporary position from 2026-01-07 to 2026-06-30. With us, you will encounter a good working climate where we value our employees' competence and provide room for both personal and professional development. The school has a well-functioning student health service, and we actively work to create a safe and pleasant environment for all students.

Grythyttan School is a F-6 school with approximately 130 students and is located in beautiful Grythyttan in Hällefors municipality. We focus on language and knowledge development as well as NPF training to create the best possible conditions for our students.

Responsibilities

As a primary school teacher for grade 1, you will:

• Plan, implement, and evaluate the pedagogical work.
• Work closely with your colleagues to create a safe and stimulating learning environment for the students.
• Be a clear leader in the classroom and build good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.
• Consciously work on language stimulation and create accessible learning environments for all students.
• Adapt teaching to students' needs and promote their learning and development.
• You will work in an engaged team that together contributes to a positive learning environment and a good working community.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a qualified primary school teacher for grades F-3 with a teaching license. You should be well acquainted with the school's governing documents and have the ability to create accessible learning environments.

We want you to have:

• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• A clear and confident leadership ability in the classroom.
• Flexibility and a positive attitude towards changes and new situations.
• Commitment to teaching and the ability to inspire both students and colleagues.
• Good collaboration skills and a solution-focused approach.
• If qualified applicants are lacking, the employer will consider the possibility of hiring unqualified candidates who are deemed suitable for the job, temporarily according to the Education Act.

Conditions

The position is a full-time temporary position. After the end of the temporary position, a permanent employment may be possible for those who have a primary school teacher degree F–6 and are deemed personally suitable. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability, and interviews are conducted continuously.
