JOB DESCRIPTION

The role of study guide involves supporting students in transferring knowledge from their mother tongue/school language to Swedish. The goal of the study guidance is for the student to develop tools for their own learning and the continued learning process, and therefore the guidance needs to be conducted alternately in Swedish and the mother tongue.

Study guidance may take place at several schools in the municipality depending on where the students attend.

QUALIFICATIONS

We prefer that you have a pedagogical education and experience in study guidance and/or mother tongue instruction. An advantage is if you are familiar with the Swedish school system, Swedish school language, as well as the curriculum and other governing documents applicable to the operations. To function as a study guide, your Swedish must be well developed.

A B driver's license is required as the position may involve multiple schools.
