The Health Center in Gäddede is looking for a temporary nurse

The position may change to a permanent employment.

The position can also be combined with the role of Ambulance Nurse, by agreement.

Near Care Frostviken is a collaborative organization between Strömsund Municipality and Region Jämtland Härjedalen, where activities within the health center, ambulance, special housing, and home care are included. The purpose is to achieve good cost-effective care for the population in Frostviken through close care in collaboration under a common board.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse at the health center, you work for good and safe care. The job responsibilities include:

• Care - Perform nursing actions, provide patients with security and support, and promote health and prevent diseases
• Medical treatment - Administer medications, take blood samples, and perform wound treatments
• Assessment and planning - Assess patients' health conditions, plan and lead nursing work
• Documentation - Write records and document the patient's health status and treatments; we use Cosmic.
• Communication - Inform and support patients and relatives
• Collaboration - Work in teams with other professionals such as doctors and physiotherapists

Working as an ambulance nurse means that:

• Working hours are planned in a schedule with 24-hour shifts
• The ambulance team provides support to other staff at the health center during the day and supports the district nurse on call during evenings and weekends
• The ambulance team is often the first on-site where you, as an ambulance nurse, make the first important assessment and provide the initial care

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. Previous experience in primary care is an advantage. For work as an ambulance nurse, specialist training in ambulance care is required.
