At the Women's Department at Östersund Hospital, we operate around the clock with deliveries, maternity care, and gynecology. We also have clinics for specialist maternity care, gynecology, and women's health. The department handles approximately 1,200 deliveries per year and 17,000 outpatient visits. Our combined maternity/gynecology ward has 16 beds.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Midwife with rotation duties between the delivery ward and the maternity/gynecology ward, which provides great opportunities for variation in job tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

Licensed midwife with an interest in gynecology and postnatal care as well as delivery care. We prefer that you have a few years of experience in midwifery.

It is important that you have good collaboration skills, are meticulous, and are professional in your practice.

As the job involves switching tasks between different units, it is crucial that you are flexible. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
