We are a wonderful, dedicated, and joyful team that works with warmth, empathy, and competence for healthy and independent patients. Within health and medical care, the municipality's dietitian, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehab assistants, and a vision and hearing representative also work. In our area of operations, there is also the assistance unit with which we have a close collaboration.

We make home visits to home care patients or those living in a municipal residence (special accommodation or group housing according to LSS). You largely control your workday yourself in collaboration with other colleagues and based on the patient's needs.

Night work is meaningful and varied in a team that has extensive experience and focuses on safe and secure care. The work team has varied and broad competence and plans the layout of the shifts together.

The social administration consists of 600 employees, and the breadth of the assignment is extensive. The administration is divided into five areas of operation and is present throughout the municipality. Here we are responsible for providing care and support, service, and health and medical care to the municipality's citizens in need at all stages of life.

A Day or Night as a District Nurse in Health and Medical Care

As a district nurse in Krokom, you are offered a free and independent job where you, together with the care and support staff, provide health and medical care interventions of high quality. The target group lives in both ordinary housing, special accommodation, and within the municipality's LSS operations. The tasks largely involve assessing, addressing, evaluating, and documenting health and medical care interventions. You start your workday in Krokom or from one of our district offices (Offerdal and Föllinge) depending on where you are needed. If you work nights, you always start from central Krokom.

Documentation is done in Viva and Cosmic Link, and we use the digital signing tool MCSS from Appva. We have good collaborations with Storsjögläntan (the palliative team) 1177 and ambulance personnel.

Your Competence

Requirements for employment:

• Swedish license as a nurse. You are a district nurse or a nurse with further education that the employer assesses as relevant, e.g., elder care.
• B driver's license
• Knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
• Good computer skills and ability to write records
• You have an easy time collaborating and are a skilled mentor based on your profession.

We see that you are open, unpretentious, and enjoy working in a team. You have a strong commitment to working with people and a humble and professional approach. You are curious and interested in contributing your knowledge, are confident in communicating with patients, relatives, and colleagues. You take great responsibility for your own work, are independent, flexible, structured, and have a good ability to prioritize while contributing to a positive atmosphere during shifts.

We expect you to have high nursing competence and a good ability to make independent decisions and ethical judgments. Since we are also looking for temporary substitutes for night work, you need to feel secure in your role and in your decisions when you are alone on duty during night shifts.

Hourly employment during the day and/or night.

Working hours during the day Mon - Sun: 07:00 – 16:30

Working hours: Evening 16:00 – 23:30, Night 18:00- 07:00.
