JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an occupational therapist for a permanent position. The rehab team is based in the central location of Hammarstrand where the team shares an open office landscape. We work with SÄBO and home healthcare at three locations in the municipality.

As part of the rehab team, you will collaborate with physiotherapists, district nurses, registered nurses, care staff, assistance assessors, and unit managers. The work involves home visits in both ordinary housing and special housing. To gain a comprehensive view of the person and their life situation, we strive for the occupational therapist and physiotherapist to make joint home visits and assessments. We discuss potential interventions in the team to ensure we work towards the same goals and avoid counterproductive measures.

In addition to patient work, your tasks will include supervision, instruction, training, and information to care staff and relatives. We have a health-promoting, preventive, and rehabilitative approach to increase the possibility of an active life with good quality of life based on the individual's own conditions/resources.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist.

The position requires you to have a B driver's license.

As a person, you have the ability to work with others; to listen, show empathy, and respect. You are unpretentious. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

It is an advantage if you have previous experience as an occupational therapist.
