Primary care in Region Jämtland Härjedalen is organizationally part of the Division of Close Care, together with Ambulance, Public Dental Care, Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

Primary care is organized into 4 local care areas, and since January 2022, primary care and ambulance services have been integrated under good and close care. Each local care area is an economic unit led by a manager. Primary care is also responsible for the region's healthcare advice, youth clinic, and the local care department Näva, all of which are grant-funded.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Working as a district nurse at Bräcke health center involves both traditional tasks at a health center such as reception work, telephone advice, and teamwork with doctors and other staff at our minor emergency unit. Depending on your educational background and interests, there may also be opportunities for a specialty area. This could be a coordination role for close care, diabetes, children, or asthma/COPD nursing.

QUALIFICATIONS

Licensed nurse with further education as a district nurse.

You have a genuine interest in people and focus on the patient. We expect you, together with your colleagues, to contribute your expertise and a good attitude to provide the best possible care for patients. You thrive in your professional role, are engaged, and contribute to a good working climate as you have initiative and a sense of responsibility. Experience in similar tasks is an advantage.
