RESPONSIBILITIES

The health and medical care district of Åre Municipality stretches from Hallen in the east to Duved and Kall in the west, covering special housing, home care, and healthcare at home for the elderly and disabled. An important part of this role is to identify and actively prevent health risks at all stages of life.

Our district nurses are based in Järpen and serve the entire municipality. The work is scheduled during daytime, weekdays, and weekends, with the possibility to influence your schedule in consultation with your colleagues.

We hope you are motivated to be part of the continued development of the operations, towards good and close care in collaboration with regional and private primary care. That you see opportunities and are solution-focused in your work with both colleagues and patients. You will mentor and educate students and nursing staff. The work is done in close collaboration with home care staff, which places high demands on good collaboration skills with different workgroups.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Relevant educational level and experience.
• You need to have a person-centered activating approach with the individual's participation in focus.
• Ability to provide good and safe care at all stages of life.
• Identify and actively prevent health risks.
• You are a good organizer, service-oriented, and responsible, and can perform work both independently and in a team.
