Assistant Nurse for Elective Section

Our elective section receives patients undergoing planned orthopedic procedures. The department has a cap of 8 patients per day, which provides good conditions for structured work, close patient contact, and high care quality. We work in three shifts – day, evening, and night, and collaborate closely in teams consisting of assistant nurses, registered nurses, doctors, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. High patient flow with strong interdisciplinary collaboration.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an assistant nurse with us, you play a central role in patient care and recovery. Your tasks include, among others:

• Basic and advanced care of orthopedic patients
• Mobilization and support in rehabilitation in collaboration with physiotherapists
• Monitoring vital parameters such as pulse, blood pressure, saturation, respiratory rate, and temperature
• Blood sampling and other practical tasks within basic care
• Documentation in the medical records system according to current guidelines
• Preparation and care of patients before and after surgery
• Teamwork and communication with other professionals to ensure safe and secure care
