ST Physician at Odensala Health Center
Do you want to be part of Region Jämtland Härjedalen – a region to long for and grow in? With us, you contribute to development and growth throughout the county and work to provide the best possible service, care, and support for everyone living in or visiting the region.
We offer a work environment characterized by collaboration, participation, and commitment, where both breadth and specialized skills are valued. Here you will have the opportunity to develop in your role, whether you are new to the profession or have extensive experience.
The primary care in Region Jämtland Härjedalen is organizationally part of the Division of Close Care together with Ambulance, Public Dental Care, Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Primary care is organized into 4 local care areas, and since January 2022, primary care and ambulance services have been integrated under good and close care. Each local care area is an economic unit led by a manager. Primary care is also responsible for the region's health advice, youth reception, and the local care department Näva, all of which are grant-funded.
Odensala Health Center is now looking for an ST physician! To ensure good care for our patients, our district physicians have been given a reduced patient list of 1250 patients with deductions for any side assignments and part-time work, and the ST physicians' patient list has also been reduced, starting with approximately 450 patients. We are working on developing new working methods within Close Care, especially Extended Primary Care. Come and be part of this work with us!
Our Health Center is located just south of the city center. It is a pleasant workplace that feels familiar despite its size, with around 12,000 registered patients and about 65 employees. We utilize each other's skills and create good conditions for the patient. Here, district physicians, district nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries work together. We also have BVC/MVC as part of the Family Center Trädet, staffed with pediatric nurses and midwives. The health center also has a psychosocial reception with several psychologists. Additionally, we have a rehab coordinator who works in the team around the sick leave process. The health center has two engaged unit managers with shared leadership.
We have a good learning environment with extensive experience in supervision for all professional groups. In a quality review of the ST education, the following strengths were noted: a wise and action-oriented ST physician group, a supervision group with many ideas on how to create structure for competence evaluation and feedback, and an extremely well-functioning study director function that has created the overall conditions needed for ST in general medicine to be conducted in the county. There is a setup with several mandatory courses arranged locally. Joint sessions and specialist collegium are conducted at the health center.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for someone who wants to become an ST physician in general medicine. With us, you will meet patients of all ages from BVC to elderly care, which gives you an exciting breadth in your work. A combination of an engaged study director, a good ST education with a focus on learning and continuing education, along with a pleasant workplace with friendly colleagues, will give you a good start in your professional life. Regular supervision is included.
You will also be involved in our work with Close Care, which includes a more focused responsibility for our older and frail patients. This working method also provides increased opportunities to make home visits and thus convey security to the patients who need it most.
QUALIFICATIONS
Licensed physician with completed AT education, research is meritorious but not a requirement. We place great emphasis on personal suitability, especially the ability to cooperate and communicate, as well as a strong interest in general medicine.
OTHER
In Region Jämtland Härjedalen, our work is permeated by our core values: we create value for those we serve, act with decisiveness, and strive to always be perceived as reliable. With us, you will have the opportunity to work in an organization where these values shape everyday life and where your work truly makes a difference.
As an employee, you will have access to a wide range of benefits through our benefits portal. We care about your health and offer wellness grants or wellness hours. At Östersund Hospital, you can also train for free at the gym Zefyren and participate in instructor-led classes.
Selection and appointment may occur continuously during the advertising period, so we encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible.
We have an established recruitment process and kindly but firmly request no contact with advertising sellers or other recruitment service sellers.
