Radiology Nurse Wanted at Fjällhälsan
Sjukvårdens Utveckling i Hede/Vemdalen EkonomiskJämtlands län, Härjedalen
Previous experience is desired
Are you a radiology nurse?
Do you enjoy outdoor life, forests and mountains, or is it the countryside that attracts you?
Fjällhälsan is a private health center operated without profit motives by an economic association owned by the local population. The health center is located in Hede, about 20 km from Vemdalen and about 60 km from Funäsdalen, where we have gathered many competencies under one roof, such as BVC, MVC, physiotherapy, psychosocial unit, etc. We also have our own lab and radiology. Smaller branches are located in Vemdalen village and Lillhärdal, and during the winter season, we have on-site doctors in Björnrike, Tänndalen, and Ramundberget. The nearest hospital is 150 km away in Östersund, which is why we handle many acute conditions that normally go to emergency departments, and orthopedic injuries make up a large part of our work during the winter. We are a strong and competent team of about 35 employees with many years of experience in primary care. Together, we make a difference for our primary catchment area of about 3,300 people, which increases tenfold during the winter season!
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with a heart for patients who is a licensed radiology nurse and has experience in the field, preferably in primary care/rural areas. At our health center, we offer conventional radiology. During peak season, we receive many orthopedic injuries from the ski resorts.
The role of the radiology nurse with us involves being responsible for our radiology lab together with our nursing assistants who perform radiology under delegation. You will work in dialogue with other staff such as doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, and physiotherapists.
Some weekend shifts occur during the winter season where you will work alongside doctors, nurses, and nursing assistants.
What do we offer?
- An exciting job in an extraordinary environment
- A positive and developing workplace with a clear patient focus
- A varied job in a central role
- The opportunity to be part of a motivated and competent team
Our organization is flat and operates through engagement and participation from employees, leading to short decision-making paths.
Information:
The position is primarily a fixed-term employment, but with a chance for extension. The working percentage is estimated to be about 50% regarding radiology. The position may possibly be combined with a nursing role or nursing assistant/lab role for additional time. We have the ability to adjust schedules to fit both the individual and the team.
Start date as soon as possible or by agreement.
Welcome with your application today! Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis. Please submit your application as soon as possible!
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
