About the assignment

Sanandum is looking for a district nurse or licensed nurse for assignments in municipal home healthcare in Östersund municipality during the summer of 2026.

The assignment spans from week 26 to week 33 and involves work in municipal home healthcare where you are responsible for patient-centered care in the patients' homes.

The work takes place within municipal health and medical care where you meet patients in their home environment and work independently with medical assessments, nursing interventions, and coordination of the patient's care.

Common tasks may include:

• medical assessments and nursing interventions
• medication management
• collaboration with home care, doctors, and other healthcare professionals
• planning and follow-up of care interventions
• documentation in the medical record system

The job involves a great deal of personal responsibility while collaborating with other professionals within the municipality's healthcare organization.

Qualifications

• licensed nurse or district nurse
• experience in home healthcare or municipal care is an advantage
• good ability to work independently
• good collaboration skills

A B driver's license may be required depending on placement within home healthcare.
