Primary care in Region Jämtland Härjedalen is organizationally part of the Division of Close Care together with Ambulance, Dental Care, Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

Primary care is organized into 4 local care areas, and since January 2022, primary care and ambulance services have been integrated under good and close care. Each local care area is an economic unit led by a manager. Primary care is also responsible for the region's medical advice, youth reception, and the local care department Näva, all of which are grant-funded.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nursing assistant at the health center in Hammarstrand, you will work in the lab and take samples, perform examinations such as EKG, spirometry, hearing tests, and measure various parameters; weight, height, BMI, temperature, and oxygen saturation. You will also make orders to the storage where we keep all medical supplies. Furthermore, you will perform wound dressings, replenish and clean rooms, handle clothing and certain equipment. You will also document and assist doctors as needed.
