Primary care in Region Jämtland Härjedalen is organizationally part of the Division of Close Care, together with Ambulance, Public Dental Care, Psychiatry, and Children and Young Adults.
Primary care is organized into 4 local care areas, and since January 2022, primary care and ambulance services have been integrated under good and close care. Each local care area is an economic unit led by a manager. Primary care is also responsible for the region's medical advice, youth reception, and the local care department Näva, all of which are grant-funded.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Typical occupational therapy tasks include assessing activity ability, interventions in the form of adjustments in the environment and activities, support in structure and routines, training, and prescribing assistive devices. You will collaborate with a colleague but be responsible for different geographical areas.
We have a close collaboration with the other staff at the health centers and hold regular team meetings to plan care and rehabilitation. Collaboration with other healthcare providers or actors is also an important part of the work.
QUALIFICATIONS
You are a licensed occupational therapist with experience in similar tasks; experience in primary care is an advantage. To thrive in this role, it is essential that you enjoy variety, are independent, like working with people, can collaborate, and are solution-oriented.
We see that you are flexible, social, want to contribute your expertise, and above all, are confident in your professional role, as the work requires a high degree of independence.
Great consideration is given to personal suitability.
A valid driver's license (B) is required.
