Åre Municipality is a Sami administrative municipality, and we welcome applicants who have linguistic and cultural knowledge of Sami.

We offer home care in several parts of the municipality and have special accommodations in Järpen, Kall, Mörsil, Hallen, and Duved. Home care is provided in Hallen, Järpen, and Duved. Regardless of the unit, you will encounter a workplace where closeness, care, and professionalism are at the center.

We are now looking for 8-10 nursing assistants for our home care. Recruitment is ongoing, and you have the opportunity to request your placement location and employment level.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your tasks are to work together with licensed staff and others in the team to provide good and individualized care. We work with a rehabilitative approach to maintain and strengthen the individual's own abilities.

We operate under both the Health and Medical Services Act and the Social Services Act, which means we meet people with different needs where both medical and social interventions are included.

• You will perform health and medical care tasks delegated by a nurse, physiotherapist, and occupational therapist according to the Health and Medical Services Act.
• You are expected to make independent decisions in your professional role.
• The work is scheduled for days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

We use the TES work tool in home care and document in Treserva.

QUALIFICATIONS

We primarily seek nursing assistants but also welcome applications from care assistants with experience in elderly care and experience with delegation.

• We prioritize applicants who have proof of the right to use the professional title nursing assistant according to the National Board of Health and Welfare, or those who are awaiting their professional title.
• It is advantageous if you have several years of experience in healthcare.
• You must be confident in your professional role and able to work independently, have a holistic perspective, and feel comfortable making assessments.
• You are responsible for documenting what is relevant in a clear and accurate manner according to applicable legislation and routines.
• A B driver's license is required to work in home care; it is advantageous for work in special accommodations.

As a person, you have an understanding of what is needed to provide individualized care and support. You can step forward and take space when needed and contribute to fun moments at work together with your new colleagues.

OTHER
