VårdIX Staffing is searching for a licensed nurse for an assignment in palliative care. We offer a longer assignment during the spring focused on providing safe and dignified care at the end of life.
Assignment Information:
- Area: Palliative care department
- Period: April 4 – May 31, 2026
- Scope: 282 hours
- Compensation: According to agreement
- Location: Östersund – on-site work
Job Responsibilities:
- Extensive symptom relief and pain management
- Care and support for relatives
- Medical assessments and medication management
- Teamwork with doctors, nursing assistants, and social workers
- Documentation and care planning
Qualifications:
- Licensed nurse
- Experience in palliative care is an advantage
- Empathetic with a good ability to meet seriously ill patients and their families
- Independent and secure in the professional role
- Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
