Åre Municipality is a Sami administrative municipality, and we welcome applicants who have linguistic and cultural knowledge of Sami.

We offer home care in several parts of the municipality and have special accommodations in Järpen, Kall, Mörsil, Hallen, and Duved. Home care is provided in Hallen, Järpen, and Duved. Regardless of the unit, you will encounter a workplace where closeness, care, and professionalism are at the center.

With us, you have the opportunity to request both your placement location and employment degree. Working hours vary and can include day, evening, night, and weekend shifts, depending on the needs of the operation and your preferences. We offer both permanent and temporary positions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a care assistant in home care, you will work closely with licensed personnel and other colleagues in the team to provide good, safe, and individualized care to our clients. You play an important role in creating a meaningful everyday life where each individual feels involved and dignified. Your tasks include personal care such as assistance with hygiene, dressing, meals, and transfers, as well as social support through conversations and activities that promote well-being.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience working as a care assistant
• Has experience handling medications through delegation.
• Is confident in your professional role and can work independently.
• Has good knowledge of the Swedish language - can communicate in speech and writing.
• Has the ability to document clearly and accurately according to current procedures.
• Has a B driver's license (required for work in home care; advantageous for work in special accommodations)
