We are looking for a waste engineer with experience in nuclear power and decommissioning projects, who wants to take a central and coordinating role in ensuring efficient, safe, and traceable waste flows. You will be an important part of the project organization and contribute to ensuring that structure, documentation, and logistics maintain the highest quality throughout the decommissioning process. About the role In this role, you will work strategically and coordinatively with waste management in decommissioning projects within nuclear power. You will be responsible for developing, quality assuring, and maintaining documentation related to waste flows and logistics. The role involves leading and coordinating your own sub-projects, ensuring structure in waste streams, and complying with regulations and internal requirements within an SSM-regulated operation. You will collaborate closely with project management, technical functions, and external stakeholders to create efficient, safe, and traceable working methods. The work is not operational but focuses on planning, analysis, and follow-up. Your profile To succeed in this role, we see that you have:

• Relevant technical education, for example in environmental, process, or engineering fields
• Documented experience in waste management within nuclear power, industry, or other highly regulated operations
• Very good understanding of SSM's regulations and their application in decommissioning projects
• Good insight into national actors and facilities such as SKB, Markförvar, Cyclife, and SFR
• Experience in project management and the ability to independently drive and coordinate sub-projects
