Eurofins Food & Feed in Lidköping is a competence center for the analysis of PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) – an area that is rapidly growing with the increasing need to analyze PFAS in water, soil, and food.

What you will do with us

As a laboratory technician in our PFAS team, you will work in a modern laboratory focusing on sample preparation for PFAS analysis using UPLC-MS/MS. You will be part of a team of about 30 colleagues with various roles such as development engineers, laboratory engineers, analysts, and laboratory technicians.

Your main tasks will include:

• Sample preparation and processing of PFAS samples
• Handling various methods and workflows
• Working with a high sample volume where accuracy is crucial
• Managing laboratory equipment, including automated processes as parts of the work will be automated
• Contributing to structure, quality, and smooth processes together with the team

Who are you applying?

We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a laboratory environment and has a structured approach. You have:

• High school education or laboratory technician training
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Experience in laboratory work, which is considered an asset

We appreciate if you are meticulous, responsible, and enjoy collaborating. You are flexible, can prioritize when needed, and find it easy to keep order even with a high sample flow.

Desirable personal qualities:

• Decisiveness and quality in execution
• Good collaboration skills
• Ability to take initiative and responsibility
