Within the business area, we prepare and serve food to approximately 200 municipal and private schools and preschools across the country. Our focus is on preparing good, nutritious, and sustainable food. As a business area manager with us, you lead a team of managers and have overall responsibility for ensuring that our operations and contracts are run efficiently, sustainably, and with high quality. You are a confident leader with the ability to translate strategy into operational success and to support your managers in achieving both operational and financial goals. Your mission

As a business area manager, you have full P&L responsibility and lead the business with a focus on both financial results and operational delivery. You work closely with our customers and together with your team ensure high quality, efficiency, and innovation in our entire delivery.

In this role, you report to the Segment Director and are part of the segment's management team, where you are expected to actively contribute with a holistic perspective and strategic work for the segment's development.

Your responsibilities include:

• Ensuring and developing operational quality and delivery within our current contracts
• Securing long-term customer relationships and ensuring sustainable and efficient operations of our existing contracts
• Ensuring operational excellence and high service levels across the contract portfolio.
• Leading through others – you are responsible for a large organization and work both operationally and strategically.
• Collaborating with operations, finance, and support functions in a matrix organization.
• Building a strong, unpretentious team culture where the customer and the common result are always in focus.

Who are you?

You are an experienced and confident leader with experience in driving business towards the public sector, preferably within meal services. You combine commercial focus with an engaged, inclusive, and situationally adapted leadership.

More about you:

• Documented experience in leading and managing meal contracts.
• Extensive leadership experience within the service or service sector.
• Ability to build strong customer relationships and develop long-term collaborations.
• Experience in business development and identifying new growth opportunities.
• Accustomed to leading cross-functional teams.
• Strong financial knowledge, with experience in managing and following up P&L, budgeting, and financial reports.
• Well-developed result understanding and analytical ability and experience in working with reports, business plans, and follow-up.
• Accustomed to developing and implementing processes and working methods for improved service delivery and increased customer satisfaction.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, skilled in leading cross-functional teams.

Meritorious: Post-secondary degree in a relevant field for the role.
